Coin Vanish In a Hanky

Performance : A coin is placed into the center of a silk or hanky. The silk or hanky is then turned over to reveal that the coin has vanished!!!

Secret : Before performing this trick, wrap an elastic band around your fingers on one hand..

Then you place the silk or hanky in the same hand as the elastic band. With your other hand place the coin into the silk or hanky.

Then let the elastic band slide off of your fingers and onto the silk, so that it envelopes the coin and it is under the silk.

You then slide your hand up to the end of the silk and give the silk a shake.

This makes it look like the coin has disappeared.

The coin is in fact wrapped in the silk, held in place by the elastic band.

An easy to do but very cool coin trick.

1) Rubber band is placed around fingers.	2) Coin is placed into the center of the silk.
3)Elastic band is placed around the coin in the silk.	4) This is the view that the audience can see.
